2 cups fresh green beans, trimmed and snapped g
2 cups peeled and cubed butternut squash g
1 ½ cups diced peeled potatoes g
5 cups water g
1 ½ tablespoons chicken bouillon granules g
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour g
2 tablespoons butter, melted g
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper g

Instructions

Place hominy, green beans, squash, and potatoes into a large pot; add water and chicken bouillon. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer until vegetables are soft, about 10 minutes.

Blend flour into melted butter in a small bowl; stir into soup. Increase heat to medium and cook until soup thickens, about 5 minutes. Season with black pepper to serve.
