1 (8 ounce) package 15-bean soup mix g
3 cups cubed fully cooked ham g
2 cups chicken broth g
2 cups water g
1 (15.5 ounce) can great northern beans, drained and rinsed g
1 ham bone g
1 onion, chopped g
3 carrots, chopped g
2 cloves garlic, finely chopped g
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper g
½ teaspoon salt g
1 bay leaf g

Instructions

Place 15-bean soup mix into a large bowl and cover with several inches of cool water. Soak in the refrigerator, 8 hours to overnight.

Drain and rinse beans, then transfer to a slow cooker.

Add ham, chicken broth, water, great northern beans, ham bone, onion, carrots, garlic, pepper, salt, and bay leaf to the slow cooker; stir to combine. Cook on Low for 8 to 10 hours.
